Smart City Center es un portal dedicado a las Ciudades Inteligentes y a su investigación. Trataremos, además, de otros elementos de interés como son las organizaciones, las estructuras de gobierno, las tecnologías y las personas.
Las Smart Cities, al igual que otras muchas tendencias, están en auge. Creemos en el efecto «Smart» pero con rigor técnico y científico. Conocemos y empleamos las tecnologías pero su utilización masiva no nos llega a confundir. Consideramos las ciudades y su desarrollo de futuro mucho más: son sus gobiernos, su forma de organizarse, la economía, el entorno y, muy especialmente, las personas que han de ejercer de verdadero motor del cambio.
Este espacio servirá para contar experiencias y avances en la materia (conjunto de artículos de investigación y de opinión) así como para mantenerte informado de las últimas noticias relacionadas con el mundo «Smart».

Smart City Center is a website dedicated to smart cities and their research. Also we shall try other elements of interest such as organizations, government architectures, technologies and people.
The Smart Cities, like many other trends, are growing very fast. We believe in the smart effect but with technical and scientific rigor. We know and rely on technology but its widespread use can not be used as the unique solution. We consider cities and their future development much more: they are their governments, their way of organizing, the economy, the environment and, specially, people who are the real engine of change.
This space will be used to tell our experiences and developments in this field (research & opinion articles) and to be informed of the latest news related to the «Smart» world.
